Just a Note

Today our blogger's challenge is Floral Frenzy.  Quite appropriate that this image is from the last time I stamped with our fearless leader, Lisa when we were on a trip in Colorado.  I've had a bunch of images that I stamped there sitting on my desk and looked over when thinking of this theme and how perfect these blooms would be.

I decided to combine it with the latest CR84FN challenge using red, pink and neutral.

I'm not sure I like how this card turned out in the end.  I went for a piece of patterned paper that after it was said and done think would have looked better as a Christmas ensemble with my rolled twine flower.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

The rolled twine flower was super easy to make.  I didn't have any sheets of scor-tape so I just used my regular 1/4" tape and a circle punch.  Once I punched my circle, I just covered it with the scor-tape, cut around the circle and then rolled my twine around starting from the outside working in (in retrospect I probably did it backwards but it still looked good).
