a creative mind at work in the deep dark basement

About Me

I began scrapbooking after my first son was born.  After visiting a friend while on a business trip, I became hooked on stamping and have barely looked back.  As our family few my time diminished and I didn't keep up with the scrapbooking but my stamping was an escape.  Since my kids are growing, I decided to jump back into scrapbooking and have been working on my Project Life albums since 2011-loving it and am able to keep up even if I get a little behind.

My studio/office is stationed in our basement, where it's nice and cold and hardly any sunlight.  You can usually find me getting creative after my 3 kids are tucked into their beds and my husband is planted in front of ESPN.

I began scrapbooking after my son was born and was in love.  Shortly after I was introduced to stamping and started the combining the two.  As our family few my time diminished and I didn't keep up with the scrapbooking but my stamping was an escape.  Since my kids are growing, I decided to jump back into scrapbooking and have been working on my Project Life albums since 2011-loving it and am able to keep up even if I get a little behind.

I enjoy designing for stamp companies and started off with my big break designing with Clear & Simple Stamps.  I added Stampotique Originals soon after and have stayed with them and The {Stamps} of Life.  I love all types of stamps and am a paper hoarder.  We all hoard something right?

I enjoy watching movies, chatting with friends, cooking and baking outside of my stamping time.  My 3 kids keep me on my toes and I wouldn't have it any other way.

This is looking into our office.  The desk facing the door is my husband's so I'm shoved all the way in the corner back there :-)

This is standing at my desk.

Closer look behind my desk where the majority of my stamp stuff is stored.  The the left the cabinet holds most of my stamps, albums, some alterable items, 6 x 6 paper packs.  The cabinets above the shelf (which holds some punches, ribbons, primas, more ribbon and bling) hold my 12 x 12 papers, mono refills, anything I can't find a place for.

This has changed a little since I've now found another alternative for holding my copic markers which I love.

My antique store find-an old "coke" crate which also has handles on the side so if I want to pick up and move somewhere to color it's good to go!
