Bluebird

Another card without too many embellishments.

I created this for the Virtual Stamp Night at SCS last week to use birds/bird nest.  Hard to tell from my photo but the egg and blue birds have been colored with a copic to match the pale blue cardstock/ribbon.

Hope you are having a great Monday, the little girl and I will be concluding our trip to Disney and driving home today so I anticipate being exhausted when I arrive home.

Crawling by

Super quick card here on this wonderful Tuesday-why is is wonderful???

One more day until my girl and I head to Disneyworld for her cheerleading competition.  It's been a few years since we have been there so I'm looking forward to going and having a few days off from work.

This past weekend I didn't get much time to stamp but I squeezed in 2 quick cards for the Virtual Stamp Night at SCS.  This one was doodling which I don't do much of, but liked doing it.

Praying for you

Last night as I was face timing with my friend Vicki, we discussed how popular hexagons are now while we were stamping away.  I was creating this card for the new release for The {Stamps}of Life which is available to our club members today.  Are you a club member?  Check out the many benefits of being a club member here.

Yesterday there was a fantastic tutorial over at SCS on dryer sheet flowers so I had to try my hand at it.  I love how it turned out and am thinking I need to do some more laundry now :-)

I used the current Retro Sketch for this card-another CAS sketch that I can see using over and over again.

Off to venture over to a park today and then follow it up with a stop to my local stamp store-preparing my wallet for the damage I may do there.

Card details:
Stamps: Hexagons2love from The {Stamps}of Life
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Golden Tiara
Inks: Color Box by Stephanie Barnard-Chocolate, Smooch Spritz by Clearsnap in Sun Kissed

I got my first SCS Blogger RAK while I was out of town so this post is long overdue. Thank you to Rochelle Wick who sent me this gorgeous card. You can visit her blog at Impressions by Rochelle. I love the colors of this RAK, summery!!! And a set I don't own either, love that even more.

Thanks so much Rochelle for thinking of me!
