We are celebrating Winter over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations with the theme of Winter Blast this week. Whimsy Stamps is sponsoring us this week and provided us with these fabulous images to work with and I chose Cozy Winter Mailbox. That's definitely how I was feeling last week with the "big" snowstorm that bombarded Atlanta (but the mail delivery service was not delivering). Luckily the kids are back in school now and everyone is back to "normal".
I picked out some of my Bo Bunny Midnight Frost to play with as I still have some Christmas papers leftover but these are the traditional Christmas colors so I think they can work throughout the year.
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #99 for this card and used up some ribbon I've had laying around. The liquid applique on the mailbox and ground can't be seen too well here, but the dimension really adds to the card.
I wasn't going to use a sentiment but in the end decided that right hand corner looked bare (and now looking at it, I still think it does). This was an appropriate sentiment to fit with the mailbox I thought.
Hope you will join us over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations for our Winter Blast challenge and your chance to win some Whimsy Stamps goodies!
