BC404: Cheers to You

Today's blogger's challenge theme is "Cheers to You".  This was a card I created with good friends in mind-so cheers to those that are always there for us and are amazing!

I really enjoyed using this layout which is from Retro Sketches #149 although once I decided to use my sentiment as the focal point I was at a loss with all that space in the bottom right side so added in some washi tape.  I used a Design Seeds color combination for this adding in the touch of green.

I am also entering this into the Seize the Birthday Challenge this week which is Anything Goes.

Hope you like it and join us for Blogger's Challenge this week.

Happy Birthday trio

Stamps: Numbers4Trains from The {Stamps} of Life
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight
Inks: Crumb Cake, Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black
Embellishments: rhinestones

I had to create some birthday cards for my stash and what better way to do that then using the set Numbers4trains from The {Stamps} of Life.

For my first card, I stamped the crumb cake ink directly onto my cardstock.  I tried to keep it pretty simple and just added a few rhinestones.

Card details:
Stamps: Numbers4Trains from The {Stamps} of Life
Cardstock: Brilliant Blue, Whisper White
Inks: Blueberry ink and Blueberry, Strawberry and Banana sprays
Embellishments: Sizzix Rounded Tags

This card I was preparing ahead of time, my little guy's birthday is coming up and he loves bright colors.  I sprayed the background with the Strawberry, Blueberry and Banana sprays from Stephanie Barnard.  The Sizzix Rounded tags were the perfect addition to this card.

Stamps: Numbers4Trains and Labels4Cutting from The {Stamps} of Life
Cardstock:  Basic Black, Fancy Pants Memories Captured
Inks: Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black
Embellishments: Labels4Cutting, Sizzix Banners#2, My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots

This card already went out in the mail, a simple card for my BFF who turned 40 last month.

Loving these numbers and know they will work so well in my Project Life album as well.

Happy Father's Day

*Sweet Stamp Shop Old Fashioned Afternoon set with sentiment from Clear & Simple Stamps A Guy Thing

A few cards I created for some quick Father's Day cards.

The one above I used the Seize the Birthday sketch, but I did not create a birthday card with it.  Was an easy sketch that I can see using again.

For my second one, I totally had to CASE this phenomenal card I saw on my friend, Lori Tecler's site.  I loved it the minute I saw it and knew I wanted to recreate it.  Lori is the queen of CAS and I love her designs.

*Clear & Simple Stamps A Guy Thing set

Both the card use the My Mind's Eye Portobello Road papers.

Hope your Dad is getting spoiled for Father's Day, we are hoping my hubby will be enjoying the surf and sand.
