Congrats! Fly high

Happy Friday!  We have a busy weekend ahead of us but looking forward to spending some time with friends and doing some stamping/scrapbooking and shopping.

Today at Blogger's Challenge we were to use die cuts on our creations.  Today is also the release of the new die cut from The {Stamps} of Life which is the Kite Die Set which coordinates with the Kites2fly set.  The Kite Die Set includes 7 dies and sells for $16.95 for non-club members.

I decided instead of stamping any of the kite stuff from the set to try and work mostly with the die itself.  The grid of the kite is a die and underneath it are the different parts that you can also die cut out of patterned papers.  I did stamp the little bows and then diet cut them out.

I used some of my favorite papers from My Mind's Eye which is the Kraft Funday Happy Days paper as this background reminded me of windmills and you need wind to fly a kite :-)

Hope you'll join us showing off your use of die cuts over at Blogger's Challenge this week.

Can't wait to meet up tomorrow!
Hey, I dragged out my recipe book that we did many years ago and put it up on my blog today. What a great time that was!
