BC241: Anything but a Card

Yummy, yum, yum.  Are you ready for some candy?  Well, these only lasted as long as the picture was taken and were gone shortly after that.

Today our blogger's challenge is to make ANYTHING BUT A CARD.   Now, if you are regular here on my blog you know that I'm not much for 3D items, but when this new, candy2share set arrived in my mailbox I couldn't help but think how cute it would be as a belly band around some goodies.

I had these clear boxes from a trade show I had worked a few years back and cut my belly band to fit around it.  I colored the lollipop from this set with my copics after stamping it with the strawberry ink and then popped it up with a dimensional and adding some crystal effects over it.

I cut a little tag and adhered it behind the lollipop.  I sponged the edges just a little to give it a little pop.

Want to join us this week?  Link in over at blogger's challenge and show us your non-card creation, would love to get some more ideas for the holidays on great gift giving ideas.

This is adorable. A perfect way to hold some chocolates inside a christmas stocking. I may be trying this idea myself (if I get some craft time this season!
