Bloggers Challenge 139: Sketch

This week our list Mom gave us a sketch to work with.  This is one of those sketches I think I will go back to over and over again.  It was a nice clean sketch that I had fun creating a card for.
I've been using my embossing powders more this year that I ever have before.  I have so many more supplies that have not seen the light of day in over a year...do you have supplies like that?  I need to start using more of them and more frequently.

I know that I used this same technique a few weeks ago for one of the other challenges, but I can't seem to steer myself away from it!  I embossed my image with clear embossing powder and used a sponge dauber to color over my image.  I distressed my whole card and I really need to buy the new Zutter Distrezz-it-all.  I used this at CHA and fell in love with it.  I think I need this tool!

Make sure to check out the blogger's challenge gals creations this week.  I always love to see how different they all look from one another.

Have a great weekend, I hope to get lots of stamping done!

Stamp Set:  Fancy Wishes from Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock: Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Confetti Cream, Basic Grey Origins

If I had done a card as great as this, I'd go back to this sketch over and over as well. The ribbon treatment is fantastic and I absolutely adore that DSP! Beautiful with this image -- well done!
