Bloggers Challenge #87
This week we had an inspiration piece to work from. It was the bedspread set above.
I pulled out my neglected Just Rite stamps and went to work on some note sets for myself. I've been wanting to make these for a VERY long time and really need to do some more for gifts, but this was a start. Although at the time I thought the colors looked closer, now I see they are just a few shades off. The picture above is more rust. Oh well!
These are simple note cards using some retired SU paper that someone had given me. I have about 12 sheets of it that I haven't used and like this so much I think I may end up using the rest of it to create more note cards.
Very easy to create. Are you like me though? Is running those nestabilities through the Cuttlebug a pain in the butt or what? It gives such a dramatic addition to a card/project, but takes forever for me to break everything out. I get sidetracked doing it. Now, I guess if I had a place to permanently put the cuttlebug it wouldn't be so bad. What are the chances I can get my husband out of the office and have it all t myself??? I can dream, can't I?
Check out the rest of the bloggers out there by clicking on the logo on the right hand side. They are sure to impress you with their creativity.
I'm off to the dentist (again) to follow up on my wisdom teeth removal. I'm sure glad I indulged in the prime rib dinner the night before I had my teeth pulled as eating jello, smoothies, yogurt only gets you so far.
Have a great weekend!

Very classy notecards Kim! Love the new photos of the kids.
This is stunning! Very elegant! TFS!
Wow! Very sleek and elegant! I don't think I could live without my nesties...I suppose if you are making a large quantity of cards and need to cut lots of shapes, they are not the quickest and easiest. But you can't beat the range of sizes that you get for the price of of one Giga Punch.
Very classy, you'll be keen to get writing on these.

Very clean and elegant. I need to dust off my Just Rite stampers, too! Great job.
Great card Kim. This was a hard one. I bought the Just right about 2 months agia nd still haven't used it. Some day.
Love the pic of the kids. They are sooo cute!
Kim you did a wonderful job with your card and it doesn't matter that your colors weren't the same as the photo because you were just to be "inspired" by it and I'd say you were. Your card is crisp, clean and just right!
Very elegant card and love the half-back pearls on the circle.

So pretty!!! Personalized notecards are always a favorite!!
Simple, elegant....lovely! This is a favorite layout and always packs a WOW!
As for cutting out things with the Nesties.....I agree that sometimes it is a bit of a pain to take everything out, but it is always so worth the effort. Now I usually mass produce the Nesties cut outs and have plenty on hand.
Very pretty Kim, I love the colors!
