Today over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations our challenge was to make a tag. I had envisioned this being a vintage looking tag with my perfect sewing, but who am I kidding? The sewing machine must not have liked the vellum I was using or I had it set on the wrong tension.
This week our sponsor, The Character Cafe, graciously provided us with a few images to work with and I chose the Tree Shopping image. I love how cute this little boy is with his Dad picking out the Christmas tree.
I printed this image on vellum and then colored the image with my copic markers. I stitched the vellum onto a tag and then stamped my sentiment on. I wasn't thrilled with how that looked, but it'll do.
Hope you will join us over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations this week and show us your fabulous tags. Make sure to check out the design team to jump start your ideas:

I also am playing along with Oh, Alice this week, which it has been far too long since I played along with the girls! The challenge this week was to use red, green, and one other color (brown for me).
