Play Date Cafe- Farm Animals

This week the challenge at the Play Date Cafe is Medium Pink, Light Pink and Pale Yellow.  I love this color combination and I had some retired paper from Stampin' Up! that fit perfectly for this challenge.  I made some very simple cards with this.

These cute little farm animals is a set I picked up from DeNami Designs when I helped out there booth when they were at a stamp show here in GA.  I love the set, I just had not used it yet.  This is a cute little 3.5 x 3.5" with a sentiment from Papertrey Ink which I altered to say "Hogs & Kisses".

Sorry about the color on this one, but it's the same as the ones above.  I used one of the Clean & Simple sketches and just eliminated one of the circles to accommodate my images.  Again, I used Farm Animals from DeNami Design.

Blogger's Challenge 138: Valentine's

 

This week our theme is Valentine's and it worked perfectly for me as I decided this year I would make my little one's Valentine cards for school.

While I didn't go with a "traditional" Valentine colors on all of them, I wanted to use some of these new sets I got at CHA from Clear & Simple Stamps.  The set I used is called Cute as a Bug and it's got darling little bugs & very cute sentiments to it.

These Valentine's were very simple, I did them in an assembly-line style.  I stamped the one white panel with the Stamp of the Month, Sweet Hearts.  I love this background and can see myself grabbing for it well after Valentine's Day.

The last 2 cards I made, I used a new stamp I picked up at a stamp show I was at last weekend, helping DeNami Design.  Boy, I could have gone broke in their booth, their stamps are so cute and Nami & Gary were wonderful to work with.  You could really see the connections they had with their customers and Nami remembered a lot of the ladies that visited the booth from previous shows.

The stamp I picked out with Valentine's in mind was the Tweety Birds with heart I used some Pink Sparkly Fluff for the hearts in between.
