Thinking of You Friend

Well, I decided to try my hand at a new challenge that I saw come across a friends blog.  It's definitely a challenge that took me outside my comfort zone but I did it during my lunch hour and found it quite fun.

Have you been over to visit the 10 minute craft dash challenge yet?  It reminded me of my friend Stephanie who is always trying to create a card in 30 seconds and it ends up taking 5-6 minutes which is still pretty good.

So we were able to pull out all our supplies which helped a lot (see my stash above).  I found a new sketch that I thought would work with the stamp set I wanted to use.  The Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch caught my eye this week and I had saved it to my files to use later.

So once I had all that in place, I set my timer on my phone and set off to create.  Here was my end result and the only thing I think I would change was the ink I used on the sentiment and move it up just a bit.

And the time it took me to create it.....

Just in the nick of time!! Hope you are enjoying the start of your weekend, we are headed to an early football game and then I hope to get in some practice at tennis.  I haven't played in almost 4 years and I joined a team starting on Sunday.  YIKES!!!

Hmmmm....I am not sure I could create a card in 10 minutes. Does that include the "decision" time--what paper and embellishments to use?!!! This sure is a cutie, I love everything about it!
