It is the Sweet Simple Things...

Today our blogger's challenge is Nature.  As much as I love nature, I'm not a big nature person.  I've done the camping, the fishing, the hiking, etc. and it's hit or miss with me.  Sometimes I love it, sometimes I can't wait to get back home.  Now the Nature Channels-I do enjoy those!  Some of the shows are absolutely fascinating.

I have a ton of nature stamps-flowers, birds, butterflies, etc. but this one just stood out at me for this weeks challenge.  It's from the May 2010 Unity Kit, A Little Happy.

It's a very simple card, I stamped the image and colored it with my copics just to add a little color.  I love all the detail in this butterfly and wanted to just leave it untouched.  I spritzed it after I was done with some Sparkle Shimmer Spritz.  I included the sentiment on the inside of this card, which I'm really bad about finishing off the insides of my cards, but trying to be better.
Hope all you Mother's have a fantastic Mother's Day and that your family's have something extra special planned for you!

If you'd like to join us for blogger's challenge this week, link in on any one of our blogs by posting a link directly to your card through the Linky Tools below.

Card details:
Stamps: Unity Kit of the Month, May 2010 A Little Happy and March 2010 Favorite Things
Cardstock: Confetti White, SEI Oasis
Inks: Dish All the Dirt Brown, copic markers
Accessories: Sparkle Shimmer Spritz, taffeta ribbon colored with copic, Spellbinders circle & scalloped circle Nestabilities

Sometimes what you call simple others see as fantastic--that's what I think of your card--esp. the border around the butterfly!
