Guest Designer: All Things Unity



I'm thrilled to share that I'm guest designing over at All Things Unity this month.  My first challenge with them is "Get Felt Up".  We want to see you using texture on your project.  This month when you play along, you have a chance at a prize from FlowerSoft who is the sponsor for May.

I saw this technique over at Jessica Witty's blog the other day and loved what she did and the colors she used.  I thought it would give me card some great texture embossing my sentiment in to the powder.


I also used some sparkly glittered embossing powder over my image and then created some layers for the image itself.  The photos is really hard to tell but I did add some score lines on either side of the twine.

    LOOOOOOVE the idea of the embossing on the side and stamping into it! I cannot ever get mine to look this good....You rocked this challenge:) So glad you are joining in the fun!!!
