BC213: Inspiration

I don't have anything *new* to share for blogger's challenge today, but if you are not a long time follower of my blog this will be new to you.  I have this frame that I made almost 2 years ago hanging in my office and when I saw the inspiration photo from Lisa today, I immediately looked up at my frame (above my desk) and longed to be back at this beach. (this was previously shared on my blog here)

This picture was taken on our cruise at one of my favorite stops in Grand Turks.   It was my first cruise ever and we took our oldest son and went with a friend and his 2 boys.  We all had a great time and this day I just laid on the beach the whole time.  I didn't do much other than that.

I've had this frame laying around for about a year, just waiting to be altered. I originally tried painting this a shimmery blue but was not happy with it so covered it with this CTMH paper I've had in my stash that I thought would be perfect. A little worn, weathered look with a nice warm blue.

Thanks for stopping by and letting me cheat this week, it was a crazy week with work travel and all 3 kids being home one day from school while I tried to work.  Needless to day, TGIF!!!

Want to join blogger's challenge this week and create something based off the inspiration, link directly to your creation below using Linky Tools.

Frame Details:
Stamp Set: Traveller by Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock/Paper: Designer paper by CTMH
Inks: Blue Bayou & Baja Breeze, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (tea dye)
Accessories: corkboard, twill ribbon (unknown source), circle & labels trio nestabilities, wood frame
