Happy Friday! I'm so glad this day is here and can't wait for the evening to be here when I can head down into the basement and quit the day of work and start my fun stamping! Just been one of those weeks here.
On the other hand, I am looking forward to a girls getaway in a few weeks with some stamping friends, one of them being our list Mom for blogger's challenge- Lisa Somerville. Can't wait!!!
So, speaking of our list Mom, our theme for blogger's challenge this week is Love. This was also a theme over at the Catered Crop challenge to Follow the Recipe which was to use some of the following recipe (I've underlined what I used)-Stampotique is sponsoring this challenge so check it out:
- Cardstock – red, pink and white
- Pattern Paper – geometric or repeating patterns
- Stamps – an image with a sheep/lamb, mother/child, kisses, or a sentiment about love
- Color Mediums – Copic markers, black or blue ink
- Tools – art sponges; square or scallop die cuts or punches; embossing folders
- Embellishments – ribbon, brads, tag
- Techniques – sponging or air brushing a sky
- Theme – love, mother/child
- Shapes – hearts, swirls and scallops
- Other – a tag with a sentiment
I used the Mojo Monday sketch from this week, very different sketch for me, but I had fun doing it. I love how the little tag came out sewn on my main image.
Hope you have plans for a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by and visiting me.
Card details:
Stamps: Hampton Art Who Loves You
Cardstock: Regal Rose, A Blanc Check, Dish All the Dirt Brown, Basic Grey Bittersweet
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers
Accessories: mini pearls, Janome sewing, circle punch
