It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, are you ready for the holidays?  This year hubby & I ventured out on Thanksgiving evening and shopped the outlet malls (which was INSANE) before heading over to Wal-mart.  Once we got in there and walked around (we had a few gifts in mind for the kids) we both kind of looked at each other after seeing person after person, cart after cart in each aisle, and high tailed it right back out of there.  We decided we weren't going to wait in that crowd.

I am happy to say though, we got almost all of our shopping done between Thanksgiving and now.  I have a few more little things to get, but most of it is done.  That's a first for me!  We were fortunate to have family in town who were happy to watch the kids for us while we went on a few shopping runs.  Now to do some wrapping.

These cards were created for a mystery image swap I participated in on one of my yahoo groups.  Rose Kerry outdid herself in sending not only images, but ribbons, gems, papers, embossed images, cardstock and all of us just went to town creating.  I had a blast and this challenge was a lot of fun.

Hope you enjoy the Christmas cards.  If you saw my previous post, I'm not one that usually will make mine (not that I NEVER have) but usually I will order mine or buy them right after the holidays for the following year.  I will be purchasing mine from Shutterfly this year right after I get our pictures done.

Those are great! I have made my cards in the past but we bought some really nice sets at the end of the year last year so...I'm not as stress about it. Now, family letter or no? :)

These are so charming! I am so NOT a shopper, unless it's in a craft store, LOL!!! Then I can brave crowds and spend hours! I help my sister make her 150 handmade Christmas cards each year, what a project. I don't have kids but if I did, the Shutterfly route sounds good to me! I usually make a few cards, each one different, maybe 2 dozen total, and give them out mainly by hand. That's it, and only if I have the cards made already! Again, love your cards!!!

Lovely holiday cards, wonderful use of the "mystery package" from Rose. It was great to see how everyone's finished pieces came out!

Kim: I have yet to do much with this set - I like your take. I look at it and then manage to bypass the set when I finally get down to business.

As for the shopping- I am such an online gal - I have even once done my grocery shopping online and just then needed to drive up and collect it.. AMAZE TECHNOLOGY!
