A quick post this Monday for you as I'm short on time but wanted to share this card I've had stashed for a little while. It was a pub submission that didn't get picked up but I still loved it.
I stamped a background on my balloon and then cut it out and mounted it some dimensionals. I love the color combination of the aqua, chocolate, and Kraft. It's one I think I will use over and over again.
Hope your week is off to a great start, I'm hoping this week flies by for me as it's a busy work week where I'm traveling.
Card details:
Stamps: Across the Miles from Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, Kraft
Inks: Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Swiss dots embossing folder, dimensionals

There have been pub subs of mine that have appeared in American magazines over 3 years after sending them in so dont give up hope.
A perfectly simple yet very effective card. :0)))
Great card, Kim. Should have been picked. I love this set.
Wonderful CAS design, love the colors and the popped up air balloon!
I love the colors on this card, Kim! So eye-catching. And the background embossing is a perfect touch! :)
I'm with you, Kim! This color combo is refreshing and unique! Although it's a bummer that your card wasn't published by "them" ... try it with another publication! Go for it!

What a GREAT card!! I love hot air balloons (well, okay I love PICTURES and digis etc. of hot air balloons, but I'd be too freaked to actually go in one, LOL!)
They look so peaceful and carefree. Love it! Hope you're having a great week Kim?! =)
