The challenge over at Embellish Magazine this week was to use the color scheme in the inspiration piece below as well as to create your own background. I love to create my own background paper with Clear & Simple Stamps. They are my absolute favorites to work with and I love how this background turned out on this card.
I've been wanting use this yellow felt that I bought from Papertrey Ink for awhile now and decided to use it with my peony nestabilities. Not sure I love how it turned out with the grey center and button, but hopefully someone at the craft fair I'm doing in November will fall in love with them.
I chose to use the FTL109 sketch for this card, I will be using a lot of their sketches for my holiday fair as I love the clean & simple style of them.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
