Sending Birthday Wishes

Oh, how this week has been marvelous.  I got to meet a friend for dinner Monday night who I hadn't seen since January.  It was great catching up with Sara and enjoying a yummy steak dinner.

The work week has gone by fairly quickly and it's been an easier week than when I'm traveling.

I love the color scheme our list Mom Lisa chose this week for our blogger's challenge.  Brown/Green/Blue.  Normally you think of this as a masculine color theme, but I had this cute little image from Paper Jewels, Puppy Kiki.

I used a few different Basic Grey Papers on this card and originally started with the Mojo Monday sketch before deciding it wouldn't work with the image I chose.  I have been making a pair of cards lately and really liked how these turned out.

Check out the other blogger's creations this week and see how they used this fabulous color combination.

Card details:
Stamps: Puppy Kiki from Paper Jewels
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Whisper White, Basic Grey Bittersweet, Offbeat & Mellow
Inks: Fresh Snow & Chocolate chip, copic markers
Accessories: twine, Spring Rain button from PTI, Amuse Creative Candy pearls
