GGSC27: Digi Day

This week over at Going Grey with Scrap-creations we were to use a favorite Digi.  As soon as Kenny K sponsored us, I fell in love with the digis.  They are a blast to color and are so spunky.  This isn't my best coloring job as I wanted to get this card in the mail quick.

A few weeks ago one of our local high school football players, Josh Haddock, collapsed on the field with a brain bleed.  He had emergency brain surgery and this past week just transferred to a rehab center to do some therapy after a miraculous recovery.  We know the family as his mother makes our beautiful birthday cakes and his sister has babysat for the kids before.  It has been heartbreaking hearing about all he has had to go through but Josh has such a positive aspect on life and he's looking forward to walking the football field this week at the homecoming game.  You can read about Josh here.

I stamped my background paper with a Clear & Simple stamp as well as the play in black.  Inside the card it reads:

Like Life, it requires perseverance, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect.

Hope you will hop around and check out the design team to see what their favorite digis are and after you are done, join us this week using your favorite digi.

Card details:
Stamps: Football digi from Kenny K, Football from Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock: Purpilicious, White, Basic Black
Inks: Eggplant Envy, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: none
