BC159: Inspiration Challenge

We got this fun beachy inspiration photo from our group leader, Lisa this week.  I loved it as soon as I saw it and I actually have had my card done for awhile but then forgot to set up my blogger to post it.  DUH!!!!

This picture takes me back to being at the beach, with the sun shining through the windows.  Makes me want to jump through this screen into this bed and listen to the waves crashing onto the beach right outside the window.  From this picture there is a lot of inspiration to draw on but what really grabbed my attention were the colors in the bedspread.

I pulled some of those bright colors together to create this card with Verve's Relax and One Person set and using Julee's Monday Mojo 146 sketch.  I paired the images with digital paper I printed from Heidi Larsen by Little Dreamer Designs called Giddy Up with some of my Basic Grey scraps.  I colored the ribbon with my Copic marker to match the paper/flower.  I'm thinking I need to add some bling to the flowers after sitting here looking at.

Make sure to check out the other Blogger's Challenge girls to see how they used this inspiration piece this week.

Card details:
Stamps: Relax & One Person from Verve Stamps
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Basic Grey, Heidi Larsen Giddy Up by Little Dreamer Designs
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Oval & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, ribbon
