This card was one I took forever creating. I started it on Friday night and finally finished it up on Saturday night. I was struggling with my Janome sewing machine and the new thread I had purchased. It just didn't want to cooperate with me so I gave up and put in a different thread which worked like a charm.
Our challenge this week at Going Grey with Scrap-creations is Spring Showers. I immediately thought of this stamp because I can't stand the rain (unless I'm home in bed, in my jammies) but I love the green grass afterwards and the blooming flowers.
I used the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #108 for this and the Basic Grey Kioshi paper that my buddy Kristen surprised me with. I wasn't too sure about the pattern combination but now when I see it all together I think it looks okay.
