Emboss It!

Oh, I was in hog heaven this week with the arrival of the new Verve Stamps Beach Party collection.  I loved all the sets that Julee was offering this month so just ran with it and decided to also combine it with the Mojo Monday 136 Sketch!

Our blogger's challenge theme this week was Emboss It.  While I didn't do a lot of embossing on my card, it's more than I normally would do on anything so again, I'm going to run with it.

I pulled the colors from this Cosmo Cricket paper I had as they had a "beachy" feel to it  but then went with a different image from the collection than I originally wanted.  I stamped the flower in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Copics.  Then I used my Versamarker and clear embossing powder.  It's difficult to tell but the shine is there.

I'm sure the other girls will blow me out of the water with their embossing and I can't wait to see...but I did complete 2 cards using 2 different images/sentiments :-)

Check out the other Emboss It! challenge entries here.

Card details:
Cardstock: Cosmo Cricket Get Happy: POP, Real Red, YoYo Yellow, Garden Green
Inks: Memento Tuxedo black, Copics, Garden Green
