I Carrot 'bout You

 

I was excited this weekend to finally work on some challenges!  I have been wanting to play in Sue & Allison's challenge Everything Old is New Again Challenge  but hadn't had a chance since their first or 2nd week

This week their challenge was to use an unloved color- Orange.  Well, I had the PERFECT image for this that I just received from Stampotique.  How cool & funky is this Carrot image?  I also stretched myself to use Allison's sketch for the week as well.

I've had a friend in mind the last week and have actually made several cards for friends this past week and will be posting them throughout the week.  She's been having a rough time and I've just had her on my mind.  I wanted to send her a nice quirky card so I hope it will put a smile to her face when she receives it as it's so NOT her style of card...but that's why I know it might give her a little chuckle.
