Card Parade using MME Blush

Last month my friend, Beth Matson and I challenged ourselves to use up some of our patterned papers.  We are hoping to continue to do this although she is MUCH better at creating to use up the whole pad of paper than I am.

This month we picked the Lost & Found 2 Blush paper pack from My Mind's Eye.  I'm a big fan of My Mind's Eye and have about 20+ pads alone of theirs that need to be used up.

I created this Mother's Day card a little while ago but had not posted it yet.  It uses almost the whole background sheet of the Blush paper.  These are some of my favorite floral images from Verve Stamps to work with.

Mother's Day Card Details:
Stamps: Blessings from Verve Stamps
Cardstock: Rustic White from PaperTrey Ink, Basic Black; Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Blush Collection
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copicx R81, R56, G21, G24
Embellishments: Ribbon Tags Trio and Circle Dies from Spellbinders, Seam Binding and Basic Pearls from Stampin' UP!
***********************************************

This Happy Birthday care was a simple less than 10 minute card (8:37 to be exact) using some circle punches and scalloped circle die to create my flower.

Happy Birthday Details:
Stamps: Sentiment Sampler from Paper Smooches
Cardstock: My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Blush patterned paper, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake
Inks: Dish all the Dirt Brown
Embellishments: Bo Bunny Vicki B. jewels, Circle & Scalloped Circle Punch, May Arts Woven Burlap-Natural Tan
***********************************************
My next card I think took me the longest as I spent a lot of time coloring my bicycle image.  It's a larger image than I'm used to working with on my normal card sizes, but I loved coloring it.  The image is from Our Daily Bread Designs.

Card details:
Stamps: Bicycle from Our Daily Bread Designs
Cardstock: Dark Chocolate, Kraft Like a Rockstart Ivory, Lavendar Moon, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Blush patterned paper
Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copic markers
Embellishments: scalloped edge punch, dimensionals
***********************************************
This was another quick card using using the Hearts2die4 set and it definitely didn't turn out how I wanted it too, think it's too busy and my sentiment didn't stamp good on the patterned paper so you really can't see it.  Hoping it blends in so much you can't even tell :-)

Looking at it now though I think I may add in a sentiment on the bottom.

Card details:
Stamps: Hearts2diefor from The {Stamps} of Life
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Blush Patterned Paper
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Embellishments: twine, dimensionals
***********************************************
This next card I created for a few challenges but didn't get them posted in enough time.  That's what I get for procrastinating but I still loved how it turned out.  It uses the Retro Sketches Sketch from last week and again the Hearts2die for set.

Stamps: Hearts2diefor from The {Stamps} of Life
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Paint the Town Pink, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Blush Patterned Paper
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose
Embellishments: twine, dimensionals, Scalloped Border Dies
                                                      ***********************************************
And if you have stuck with me this long, this is one of my favorites using the papers.  I thought the sentiment fit in with the papers perfectly and I added this adorable flower that my friend Ashley Nguyen Newell had sent me awhile ago.  Love, love, love how it turned out!

Stamps: Birthday Darling (retired) from Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock: Basic Black, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Blush Patterned Paper
Inks: Perfect Little Black Dress
Embellishments: handmade flower

Hope you will visit Beth as well and say "hi". I've gotten a peek at a few of her cards and love how they turned out.  She's got such a great style and I always love seeing what she comes up with.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me today!

WOW- you have been busy creating cards! I love the idea of a challenge to use up a DSP pad.....I am collecting it quicker than I am using it. You have some fabulous cards- I am partial to pink, so loving the colors you used too! You have inspired me to get busy and make a card and use some of the stash I have in my DSP drawer!
