SDC135: Acetate

Corrie is our hostess this week over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge with a clearly fun challenge:

Hello and happy Wednesday to you. Now, if you are anything like me, you will keep all wrapping paper, cardboard and of course acetate (clear plastic). We all get lots of it : packaging. I particularly like acetate to use in my projects, whether it is to stamp on or use it in any other way. I just love it. So this week I would like YOU to use a bit of acetate. Let your imagination run wild and surprise me !!!

*****************************************************
So my card didn't photograph as well as I would have liked so you'll just have to trust me that I do have some acetate on here.

I chose to cover my whole image with acetate, adhering it with the brads.  I combined this challenge with a sketch challenge with Seize the Sketch site.

My image was watercolored and mounted on a solid piece of cardstock.

Hope you will join us over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge!

Card details:
Stamps: 7213 Row of Numbers, 10010 Cityscape by Stampotique Originals
Cardstock: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzaz, Confetti White, Real Red
Inks: same as cardstock, Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black
Embellishments: Silver brads, watercolor brush

Nicely done my friend... even though you can's see the acetate, it must look great in real life.

Love the softness of the color, Kim, and I know it looks even better under the acetate! Cleve to use brads to adhere your acetate! Great project! Mwah! KayW

This is fabulous. I love the soft colors you used.

Acetate, metallics, and glitter are so hard to photograph.
