Today is a big day out in card making land, and I couldn't neglect my blog today and not post anything. I have met so many wonderful friends through my love of stamping and card making and I'm thankful that I found a hobby that I love and enjoy so much and there are so many others that share that passion.
I am having a fellow friend over tonight, Libby Hickson, who I met online a few years ago when she was in Texas and I was here in Georgia...and then she MOVED to Georgia. I was thrilled when she moved closer and am very excited to get together with her again to stamp.
Last night I had a few minutes after work before the rush of the evening began so I set out to participate in the 10 minute craft dash challenge. Any card maker knows that 10 minutes isn't a lot of time to put together your card, but they allow for you to gather your supplies first so that helps out a lot!
My cards use the same color scheme for the challenge as I was also working on my Viva la Verve weekly sketch challenges and also had in mind the Moxie Fab challenge for LOVE.
The card above uses week 1 sketch and I completed it in 9:23.
The card above uses week 2 sketch and I completed it in 9:27.
Do you have some big plans for today? We have a birthday party this afternoon so I'll be doing a little cleaning here this morning and then party and then stamping. Looking forward to getting inky.
Happy World Card Making Day my friends, thanks for stopping by!
