a creative mind at work in the deep dark basement

Hello

Wow, do you ever come across stamps sets which you love so much you have a hard time putting down?  There are two new ones that I bought while I was on a stay-cation and immediately inked them up and have been going crazy with them.

I have never bought a set from Prickley Pear stamps but when I saw this hibiscus set I had to get it along with the coordinating die.  Loved using the die instead of fussy cutting the flower and can see this set going a long way in my collection.

I colored the images with my copic markers and then fussy cut the enter of the one flower and popped it up on a die.  The pearls were also colored with my copic marker.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Oh wow!! Gorgeous card. Love the embossed background. Even though I'm not on FB anymore, this morning I did peek in and saw all of your photos from your vaca - loved all of them.

WOW Kim! Those flowers really pop on that great embossed background. I don't blame you for liking the dies. Fussy cutting works but you sure get a cleaner edge with dies. Gorgeous card! Hugs!
