Happy Birthday Wild Thing!

This week I have been really pushing myself to get crafty in the evenings after the kiddos are in bed instead of heading to bed to curl up with the Kindle.  I am excited to say that I have been quite productive!

My Favorite Things is holding a guest design search with a wonderful sketch.  I immediately grabbed my Little Loveasaurus set.  This set reminds me so much of Where the Wild Things Are, so a tribute card to the loss of Maurice Sendak.

I colored Little Loveosaurus onto Crumb Cake cardstock and then colored it with my copic markers.  I pulled out my My Mind's Eye Be Amazing patterned paper and this sheet just popped out of me.  I mean being a loveosaurus is all about the journey right?

I love how this card turned out and I don't say that as much as I would like to about  my cards.  It just came together nicely as I had imagined it would look like.

Other challenges I'm playing along with today are:
The Crazy Challenge: Something for a Young One

Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh how I need that stamp for my grandson who loves ALL things Dinosaurs! CUTE and I wouldn't have thought to stamp it and then color it on that colored cardstock, great choice.
