Mums & Humor...New Set Release

Today is Wednesday and for those that are club members over at The{Stamps}of Life, an exciting day with the release of 3 new sets (moremums2stamp, Easter4him and humor4women).  I hope you will stick with me as I share a few of the cards I made for this release.  *if you are not a club member, you will have to wait a few more days to see the full reveal*

I loved working with these sets, I know I saw that every month, but this month the mums really spoke to me as I love flowers and the humor4women set just had me cracking up with every stamp I used.

This first card is me every day-state of confusion!  I used a new to me sketch site for this one, Retro Sketches.

Card details: Sketch from Retro Sketches
Stamps: humor4women from The{Stamps}of Life
Papers: Basic Black, Georgia Pacific White, Mauved by the Paparazzi, Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze
Inks: Color Box by Stephanie Barnard-Licorice
Embellishments: Kaiser Scrapbook Pearls, Rounded Tags from Sizzix
*******************************************************

This card is one of my favorites, very masculine but I loved this sentiment with the train from the paper pack I used.  Just seemed to fit "going into your own little world".  This was inspired by the current Sweet Stop Sketch.

Card details: Sketch from Sweet Stop Sketches
Stamps: humor4women from The{Stamps}of Life
Papers: Old Olive, Georgia Pacific White, Not Quite Navy, Confetti Cream, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found-Breeze
Inks: Dish All the Dirt Brown, Not Quite Navy
Embellishments: Doodlebug jewels, twine, sponge
*******************************************************

I kept this card fairly clean & simple using the Lawnscaping Sketch #29 for this.  I used the little coffee cups from coffee4two on this and paper pieced the cup holders on it.

Card details: Sketch from Lawnscaping Challenges #29
Stamps: humor4women and coffee4two from The{Stamps}of Life
Papers: Chocolate Chip, Confetti Cream, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found-Breeze
Inks: Dish All the Dirt Brown

Embellishments: circle punch, dimensionals
*******************************************************

I love the mums in this set, you can use all different colors with them and they really POP on your cards.

Card details:
Stamps: moremums2stamps from The{Stamps}of Life
Papers: confetti cream, Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise
Inks: Tempting Turquoise and Lavender Lace, Color Box by Stephanie Barnard-Licorice, Certainly Celery, Old Olive
Embellishments: Doodlebug jewels

 *******************************************************

The last card I'm sharing today is a Viva la Verve sketch in which I embossed the mums with clear embossing powder and added a dollup of Viva Pearl Pen in cream for the centers.

Card details: Sketch from Viva la Verve
Stamps: moremums2stamp from The{Stamps}of Life
Papers: Sage Shadow, Blush Blossom, Crumb Cake, Georgia Pacific White
Inks: Sage Shadow, Blush Blossom
Embellishments: Viva Pearl Pen-Cream, Fancy Labels from Sizzix, dimensionals
