This weekend while stamping I got to combine a few of my favorite challenges and even try a few new ones. For this card I was inspired by the Moxie Fab I'm so Excited! challenge.
I find lately I'm really struggling with my colors and I seem to always be drawn to the same colors or at least pulling one of the colors from my favorite combination. I need to start doing more color challenges to get me out of my box.
So immediately when I saw this challenge I thought of the set I had from Clear & Simple Stamps called On the Mend II. I love having the ability to use some of the stamps in their sets to create my own backgrounds and did so on this card for my focal semi-circle. I thought it would look cool with this tape from 7Gypsies.
This layout uses the current CAS-ual Friday sketch challenge. This was definitely a different type of sketch for me, but I had fun using it.
Now I need to run off and check out all cool cards for these challenges,
it's always fun to see what others create!
