SDC30: Recycle

Today over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge, team member Valerie Wilson has challenged us to make use of items that might otherwise be destined for the landfill by re-using them or re-purposing them into a unique piece of art.

This is always a difficult challenge for me and I'm always hiding my head when I see what others create thinking I wasn't as creative as they were.  This will be the case again this week as I simply used a recycled pair of jeans to stitch on some background for my card.

I love this oversized chair from Stampotique and the fact that the sentiment fits inside it.

If you like the Stampotique stamps, there are a lot of artists to choose from, then play with us this week at Stampotique Designer's Challenge for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate towards stamps at the Stampotique store.  This week is to use any stamps with the theme of recycle.

Card details:
Stamps:   Spiral Velvet Chair 7016 and A Friend's Touch 8921 from Stampotique Originals
Cardstock: Coral Necklace, A Blanc Check
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Paper Distress Ink
Accessories: jeans, sponges and Janome sewing
