Clear & Simple Stamps: Fun with Fabric Group Challenge

Today is our Clear & Simple Stamps group challenge and we were to use Fabric on our creations.  Oh how I struggled with this one!!!  I didn't have any "cool" fabric around to work with and so I opted to integrate some into my card.

I chose to to use a lot of sewing on my card with the new Stamp of the Month, On the Mend II.  The pink really gives it a feminine look and I created my background with the cute little button in the set.  I threaded the needles with some of my thread and wrapped it around as well.

The pop-up card seemed the perfect choice for my idea and I love that it turned out exactly how I envisioned it.  Unfortunately I didn't take a great picture to show the bottom part of the card, but the fabric I chose is feeding out of the sewing machine and I also stitched it to the card so it wouldn't come undone.

Hope you will hop around and see what my fellow talented design team members created- I can't wait!  I'm always so excited to see how everyone incorporates the theme into their challenge.

Love all the sewing you did and the pop-up inside is fantastic. You really did think of everything. The thread on the sewing machine looks real. Did you use a blender pen to create the horizontal stripe? Totally FAB!
