Decorating Eggs

I'm behind on my blog reading, messages this week.  I was up in Maryland for work, and unfortunately my flight was due to leave right at the time the bad weather hit so I got stuck there for a bit.  Finally I made it home.

Yesterday Stephanie from The {Stamps}of Life e-mailed me to see if I had seen her fantastic blog...which I hadn't because I'm so behind but was thrilled to see that she had my little beauty featured along with a slideshow of the design team gallery.

This year I'm trying to do some more scrapbook pages, even if just a few, but I am trying.  I don't know how successful I'll be, but I will give it a go.

This is a page of Syd from Easter last year we took the kids to a neighbor's house for our neighborhood egg hunt.  She was having a blast and she even won the golden egg.

I stamped the dragonfly directly on the card stock and paper pieced the top wings and stamped the bottom patterns.  I love how it turned out, but I can't seem to take a great picture of it.  The set I used was the Creations2Fill set.

I wanted to create a cute little tag with this set as well and love the purples of it.  It will look great adorned on a birthday gift.  I added a few rhinestone brads to the middle and some twine instead of ribbon for the top.

Hope you all are having a great week!  I'm going to make a quick trip to the grocery store and maybe take a quick nap.
