Challenges Galore

Last night I was quite productive getting a few challenges in as well as creating some things for an upcoming Holiday Craft Fair I'm sharing a booth with my friend at.  I haven't had the chance to play over at the Play Date Cafe Challenge but always love the black, white with a splash of color challenges.  I used a sketch from World Card Making Day from Rae Barthel.

Love that color combination, so I pulled out a new stamp set of mine from Mint Motif called Very Square.  I love how solid this stamps and can forsee this becoming a quick favorite of mine.  Actually, I used this set twice tonight so you'll have to visit me again on Tuesday for the Going Grey with Scrap-creations challenge.

Card details of You're Sweet:
Stamps Sets: Very Square from Mint Motif and Mini Mates from SU
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Baroque Burgundy
Inks: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Rolled Flower Die, Open Scallop Border die, black prima flower, pearls

The 2nd challenge I decided to try was a brand new one for me, one that I saw on my friend Lisa Somerville's website.  She's such an enabler (and she knows it) when it comes to drawing me into all these different challenges.  This one came really easily to me as I let the Jovial papers do most of the work on this card.  The new challenge is from CR84FN and this is their first challenge.  I did little stamping on this card, just adding a little sentiment to the Card Positioning Sketch Challenge I used.

Card details:
Stamps: Winter from Clear & Simple Stamps
Cardstock: Kraft, Garden Green, Basic Grey Jovial
Inks: Garden Green, Ruby Red
Accessories: Janome Sewing

HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
