SDC9: What Does Summer Mean to You?

With the official first day of summer fast approaching Valerie (the birthday girl, stop by to wish her a happy birthday) challenges you to bring the heat! Your creation should reflect what summer means to you. We hope you'll get fired up about this sizzling challenge and join in for a chance to win a smokin' hot $15 Stampotique gift certificate!! You may use any stamps that spark your inspiration.
Summer for me here in GA is hot & humidity and lots of BEES!!!  I have a big bush out front of the house that the bees just flock to.  Not only are there the stinging bees but we have these gigantic wood bees.  Do you like my technical term for all the bees???
I pulled out a couple of my cool new stamps to create this card with, it's actually for a fellow DT member and I told her not to peek at it if she didn't want to be surprised.  Now I might have to delay sending it so I can make her another one and she can be surprised.

I honestly wish I could even remember what color cardstock I used on this card-I think it's Spring Moss from PTI but I"m lazy and refuse to walk downstairs to find out.  I've hit my dead end mentally this week and it's only Tuesday!

Make sure to check out the design teams sizzling hot summer cards and leave them a little love.  After that, join us in the challenge and show us what summer means to you.  It's a non-Stampotique week, so you can use any stamps to create with for a chance to win some new stamps!

Card details:
Stamps: Honeycomb Background, Medium Bee with tiny bee,. Big Bee all from Stampotique
Cardstock: Kraft, Basic Black, Spring Moss, Stamper's Select White, designer acetate from SU
Ink: Spring Moss, Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Accessories: Janome sewing
