{you are on my mind}

You know how you envision the card going one way and then it ends up in a totally different direction.  This was one of those I created last month that went that way.

I had been wanting to do a card a little different than what I was used to.  I used my nestabilities to cut my scalloped square card base and then just did a white square for my image.  Initially the image was stamped with pumpkin pie but I didn't like all the orange so I shadow stamped it with Dish All the Dirt Brown and liked it a lot more.

The tag was cut out using my nestabilities again and I added some Orange You Fabulous ribbon to it.  If you have not tried Clear & Simple Stamps ribbon, you must, it's heavenly to use!!!!  So that the left hand side didn't see so empty I threw 3 Orange You Fabulous brads from the Designer Mix Brads to it.

When I was going through my google reader the other day, I came across this card from Beate, which I had to take a double look at it, they look so similar yet I had created mine over a month ago for a new release.  I just laughed and thought, I must have good taste :-)

Card details:
Stamps: Kind Deeds from Clear and Simple Stamps
Cardstock: A Blanc Check, Pumpkin Pie
Inks: Dish All the Dirt Brown, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Large Square Nestabilities and Ribbon Tags Trio, Orange You Fabulous Ribbon, Orange You Fabulous brads
