Stampotique Designers Challenge: Color Challenge

Welcome to the 2nd Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  This week I'm the hostess & I chose a color challenge of rose, yellow, mossy green & optional color of blue.  These are some of my favorite colors, but I struggled with my cards.  This week is also a Stampotique Stamps only challenge.  If you don't have any Stampotique stamps, make sure to play the 2nd Wednesday of the month for your chance to win some Stampotique money to add some to your collection.

I ended up making 2 cards, one using the baby wipe technique for the background and the Warhol technique for the images.  My friend Lisa is always using the Warhol technique on her cards and thought this image, Clochegirl by one of Stampotique's new artist, Kelle McCarter would go great with this image.  I paired the images with one of my new favorite sentiments, Freakin' People Person.  I just crack up at the sentiments that Stampotique has.

Card details:
Stamp Set:  Clochegirl & Freakin' People Person by Stampotique Originals
Cardstock: Basic Black, Glossy White, Regal Rose, Mellow Moss, So Saffron
Inks:  Same as cardstock
Accessories:  Baby Wipe Technique

For my 2nd card I choose this new image, Merry Fairy and a sentiment I find fits a lot of cards that I make, Go Confidently.

I did a little coloring on this image with my Copics, a little sewing on the edge of the patterned paper and I added some Zva crystals to her skirt.

Card details:
Stamp Set:  Merry Fairy & Go Confidently by Stampotique Originals
Cardstock:  Mellow Moss, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Basic Grey

I hope you will join us at the Stampotique Designer's Challenge and you can now check out some of the design teams cards all in one place on the Stampotique Designer's Blog.
