Name Frame/Brody

I've been doing quite a few name frames lately...baby boom???

I wasn't feeling as creative when I was trying to do the girl frames so I started with the boy frame. I knew the nursery was a frog theme and I didn't want to embellish it too much so I just did simple this time around.

I've been tagged

Wow! I see all these people who have been blog tagged by Denise and then I was told that I had been tagged. Check out Denise's site as they have some wonderful scrapbook pages on there!

So, now I get to tag 5 of my favorite blogs. I know a lot have already been tagged and I have to say that I like a ton of blogs so they are all my favorite ones!!! I figure I can tag some of my buddies from other lists ;-)

Vicki Garrett: Vicki has some awesome artwork on her site, it's one I visit every day! And she chopped all her hair off just like me!!!

Lisa Somerville: Lisa is unbelievably talented and always comes up with samples that I would have never imaged could be done! She's also a wealth of information and I had the pleasure of meeting her last month!

Stefanie Summerer: Stefanie is an incredible watercolorer! I got to watch her in action and even though I've tried the same technique she used, it didn't turn out quite as nice as hers did! She also has me addicted to Fabriano Medioevalis folded cards and Bellas!

Kerry Donovan-Casey: Kerry should be in Viet Nam by now where they are adopting a baby. She was the wonderful person who introduced me to a group of wonderful swappers and who I got the honor of hanging out with (and having a ton of fun with) in Cape Cod last month.

Leslie Brown: I've known Leslie for many years when I started with a group called GeorgiaScrappers. I branched in to SU! and Leslie was a demo who I saw a ton of wonderful samples from. She's very creative!!!

Okay, that was hard, but I really tried to do everyone that I have met personally and who's websites I visit daily!

You've been TAGGED!

Sketch Challenge 115 & Color Challenge 109

I participated in a swap using the Sketch Challenge #115 from Splitcoast Stampers this past week. I also incorporated the Color Challenge #109 with the card. I was definitely NOT thrilled with it as I was doing it (it only took me about 2 hours...talk about a challenge!), but when I completed it I liked it a whole lot better.

This weekend my sister-in-law Heather and my friend Cass will be coming over to stamp which I am looking forward to taking my mind off other things (work!).

Stamp Sets used: Looks Like Spring, Flower Filled, Fancy Flexible Phrases
Colors: Real Red, Sage Shadow, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Oval punch, Bold Bright Button

No April Fools Joking Here!

So for those who don't know about me...I have 2 children. Tristan is 7 and Sydney is 14 months. Why such the age difference between the 2 of them? Tristan took us 2.5 years to conceive with the help of some fertility treatments. He was born at 27.5 weeks gestation. Sydney was our suprise when we weren't really trying. She was born at 39 weeks.

Can you tell where I'm going here?
April Fools Day comes and guess what I discover?????????????????????

Positive pregnancy test= baby peanut (right)

Yep, you guessed it. I discovered I was pregnant with baby #3. While this was planned, it was quite a suprise that it happened so fast for us. We are excited and today we got our official due date of 12/4/07. Bad part about it is that the Dr. said I'm a very high risk for being a gestational diabetic again so I have to get tested next week (with Sydney I was on insulin from week 6). I'm keeping my hopes up as I've been walking and doing weight watchers so I'd lost a little weight.
Anyway, wanted to share my news with all my friends!!!!

Weekly Challenge

My challenge last week was NOT to use black or white. You don't realize how hard it is until you sit down to try it. This is not an original idea. While I was in the Cape with my SSUS group, I saw this sample and so added a few things and made my own this time around.
Stamp Sets: Paisly background, Polka Dots & Petals, Circle of Friendship or is it Riveting? I'm too lazy to get up and look
Colors: Cool Carribean, Pretty in Pink, Green Galore, Regal Rose
Other: Apple grosgrain ribbon, Round Tab punch, soft subtles brads, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4" circle punches
Thanks for looking.
