There's No Place Like Home

This card was created using Mercy's Sketch Challenge #82 for a one on one swap I did with one of my groups.  I printed out some digital papers from Echo Park (bought on a $1 buck Wednesday from Jessica Sprague).

I'm trying to use more digital paper and stop collecting so much paper that I never use.  I seem to be stuck on buying those 6 x 6 packs but then I don't use them all up and I keep on collecting.  I know I'm talking amongst friends here who probably have the same habit collecting something, whether it be paper, stamps, embellishments, etc.

This set is the We've Moved set from Clear & Simple Stamps.  I always love coloring this little house in the set and I decided to pull some colors from the paper and go a little off the beaten path with a little pink house.  I'm loving these little flat circle flowers for some reason, so easy and cute...and you can mail them without the worry of them getting all crinkled up.

Hope you all are having a great week!

Boo

This week at Going Grey with Scrap-creations is a fall theme.  One thing I think of when it comes to fall is Halloween.  Having 3 kiddos, Halloween is always fun around our house.

Photobucket

This cute little Halloween image is from Fred, She Said who is our sponsor this week, Emma the Cat.  She was fun to create as the image was sent with the spots, without the spots, with her mouth open, with her mouth closed.  I chose to print the one without her spots and then create her spots on my own with my black jelly roll pen.

I used the Sketch for you to Try this week, some of my favorite as far as sketches go.  I used some digi papers I downloaded from Jessica Sprague's One Buck Wednesday.  It's the Sweet Summertime Paper Pack #1 by Creative by Crystal (ok, so I'm calling it non-traditional fall colors).

I added some velvet stars and some brads under the sentiment.
Hope you come over and join us at Going Grey with Scrap-creations this week for your chance to win some goodies from Fred, She Said.

If you are interested I have some Birthday Blog Candy going on right now and we are having a Perfect Pair Blog hop going on today as well.
