Happy Birthday Vicki!

Today is a celebratory day over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge.  Our host, Vicki Garrett, is celebrating a birthday today and has challenged us to make a humorous birthday card.  This week is a Stampotique only week so break out those Stampotique stamps and get creative.

For my card I originally wanted to integrate in something about Ms. Vicki attending Hot Yoga at 6 a.m. in the morning but only she might get my very sarcastic (and crude) humor, so I changed my mind.  Instead I colored up Sweet Moves and used a computer generated sentiment.  The "shakin'" sentiment is directed at all the working out Vicki has been doing to prepare for her trip to Mexico.  I did stamp Best Birthday Wishes on the inside but forgot to photo it.

Vicki has been a great friend for years, she's the one who got me hooked on Stampotique to begin with.  She inspires me with her coloring and we are always skyping/stamping on the weekends if we are both around. 

So my dear friend Vicki, hope you have a Wonderful birthday!!

Spring Flowers

Today's blogger's challenge is Spring Flowers.  While I was on my trip last week with Lisa Somerville and some of our other friends, she let me go through the stash of stamps she brought and stamp some images.  I worked with this beautiful flower set from Heartfelt Creations called Posy Patch Flowers.  I adore these flowers as well as about every other one in their store!

I also was able to combine this challenge with the CR84FN19 which was to use the following colors and the Copic Creations Challenge which was to use blues:

I went on a little bit of a paper buying binge while I was on my trip, I came back with 4 packs of 6 x 6 paper and haven't stamped all week.  Gotta get in gear this weekend and get some projects done.
