Dude, You Rock!

I'm a bit behind this week, I'm finding I don't have as much time to get creative as I used to with 2 kids in sports and we are just finishing the season of one and starting the other one.

Today's Blogger's Challenge Lisa gave us a "By the Seashore" theme.  I already had the card planned in my head so I cut my lunch hour short today to stamp a little bit and get my card up.

When I think of the seashore, so many things come to mind.  One is hanging out in Cape Cod with friends, watching surfers in Santa Cruz, honeymooning in Hawaii and just lounging in the sand in the Bahamas.  

I used two of Verve Stamps sets for this card, the Relax and Dude set.  The Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss papers are just perfect to combine with this set.

My sketch folder was opened to Jen's Deconstructed Sketch today so I went with that.  Not sure my waves turned out as I wanted, but I'm still happy with the overall card.  I colored my strip of twill with my copic marker.
