Thoughts of you

I got a few sets this weekend and wanted to immediately play with them so thought I'd take a little time to get something created.  Part of my goal this year is to craft a little more, even if it's before I start work for 1/2 hour or whipping up a quick creation, I want to do more.

I got these cool gold doilies from Mish Mash's shop in a kit for cards-but wanted them to use on other creations.

This card was created using the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge.  I went off the beaten path from the sketch with the doily but I like how it turned out.  I popped the eyes on the bee up a bit to give it a little more dimension.

To finish off my card, I wanted to add in a pop of color so colored my heart red and added some red sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today and visiting!
Card details:
Stamps: Word Up and Bee Mine from Paper Smooches
Cardstock: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, My Mind's Eye Now & Then-Milo collection
Inks: Archival Ink-Jet Black
Embellishment: gold doily, red sequins, dimensionals

Hi, Kim! I think sketches are for inspiration, so "off the beaten path" works for me! So love the gold doily! Makes a very special card!
