Just be U

I apologize for my lack of posting lately-just enjoying our Spring Break and being a little lazy at night with the family since we have no sports this week.

Today over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge Gez is our hostess and this is what she has challenged us with:

"The calendar "says" we are into springtime now..! A time for new life, new beginnings.. I love going for country walks at the weekends with my children at this time of the year.. (normally!!), it's wonderful seeing the lambs & new foals where we live and looking out for signs of Mother Nature doing her stuff.. I am wondering if she needs a little help this year.. what with the weather! I'd like to see everyone's blogs bursting with flowers!

Your blooms can be hand-made or stamped... I can't wait to see your projects!"

For my card I decided to create the flowers on my background using Jo's Flower Cube and embossing it with clear embossing powder.  Then I sprayed a few different Dylusions sprays onto my craft mat along with some water and pressed my card stock onto it.

I wiped off the flowers with a paper towel and then ran my heat gun over it to just completely dry it.  I love the tie dyed look of it.

After I colored my sentiment, I added some glossy accents to my bird.

Stamps: Just Be U 2422, Jo's Flower Cube 3042 from Stampotique Originals
Cardstock: Naturals White, Basic Black and Paint the Town Pink
Inks: Dylusions Spray in Pink Bubblegum, Fresh Lime and Vibrant Turquoise, Memento Tuxedo Black, copic markers
