Thank You for your kindness

My friends over at Clear & Simple Stamps launched a campaign this week and I had been wanting to play.  I had a few minutes to put my card together using one of my favorite sets of theirs, Kind Deeds.

You can read more about the campaign and see the color schemes at Amber's blog here or over on the Clear & Simple Stamps blog here.

I chose this color palette to work with as I had all the colors in my stash.  I will say the You're a Natural Darling did have me stumped to begin with, but then I decided to make it my card base and I think it worked well.

So onto my "blog crush".  I have to say I have more than one blog crush, I have hundreds of them :-)  The one that I open and read every time I see it in my google reader is Michelle Wooderson.  I have been a big fan of hers from years ago and just adore her rustic style.  I'm complete opposite of her, but I've always loved her style whether it's her cards, her furniture and flea market finds and now her Project Life pages.  While my style is no where near hers (I consider myself pretty clean & simple), I always find wonderful ideas through her blog.

I've combined this with the current Paper Player's challenge which is a sketch.

You still have a few days to join in, hope you will hop on over and see what fun we are having in the challenge.

Clear & Simple Stamps is launching a campaign that is pretty much the grown-up, blogger version of those elementary school notes! The Spread the Love Campaign was inspired by a “crush” party I attended while at Altitude Summit. The party was hosted by Go Mighty & Red Envelope and they encouraged all the bloggers to create handmade Valentine’s Day cards, then address them to their “blog crush.” It was a fun and creative way to let another blogger know how much you love their work!
Spread the Love is taking this idea and sharing it with the craft & DIY blog community. Clear & Simple Stamps is encouraging creative craft & DIY bloggers to give a virtual high-five to the other creative bloggers whose work they admire! Are you interested?
