Bee You

I'm late, I'm late, I know!  Today didn't start off at all like I had envisioned it.  It's my day off, I'm headed to the mountains to spend a few days with my grade school friend for a girls get away.  I am getting snuggled back into bed to sleep in a little longer after all the kiddos are off to school when I get a call from hubby letting me know our youngest just got sick at school...and I needed to go get him.

Needless to say NOT how my Friday was supposed to start off.  Thankfully it's not too bad and he's resting comfortably on the couch right now.  Hoping maybe he'll want to cuddle and nap for a bit before I have to get in gear and get packed.

Today over at Blogger's Challenge our challenge is paper piecing.  I kept mine pretty simple by paper piecing my cute little bee from the Hive4Bees set from The {Stamps} of Life.  I really like these colors together and how this card came together.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, I'm looking forward to relaxing with a few girls and just enjoying the weekend.

Hope you'll join us at Blogger's Challenge today and show us your paper piecing.
