Thanks, You're a Star & Give-A-Way

I'm sharing two cards today with the release of the new Chevron dies from The {Stamps} of Life.  The new dies come in a set of 3 different sizes which is great and they are easy to use!

For my first card I created a pattern with the chevron dies.  I cut several pieces with the die cut and pieced them together using lots of adhesive.  I used one of my favorite sets, the All4stars set for a patriotic theme.

For my next card, I used the Play Date Cafe Challenge colors (or as close as I could get) along with one of the dryer sheet flowers I created.  For this one I actually colored my flower with my Dusty Concord Distress Stains and used the Milled Lavender Distressed Stickles around the edges.  I spritzed my background piece with Carribean Blue Glimmer Mist.

Hope you like the new dies and make sure to check out the gallery over at The {Stamps} of Life for more ideas using these fun dies.

And now for a fun give-away!  Stephanie has generously offered up a set of the Allstars4you to one of my blog readers.  Just leave me a comment and you will be eligible to win?  I will draw a winner on June 24th and the set will be shipped directly to you from The {Stamps} of Life.

Those chevron dies look like fun. Love the red white and blue card. The flower is striking on your second card.
