Today over the Card Positioning Systems blog, The {Stamps}of Life are sponsoring the fabulous sketch challenge this week. I loved this sketch and decided to do a flippy with it.
While this idea was in my head, it didn't go onto paper as easily. I was aboutthisclose to being done with my focal image when I dropped my turquoise ink pad right smack in the middle of it. This sent my son into a laughing frenzy although when he looked at it, he couldn't tell what I did.
So back to the drawing board I went and started over with my image. Luckily, the 2nd time around went a lot quicker and smoother-meaning I smartened up and put my cover on this time.
I did some distressing on this card and I purposely left some ink off the type4background to give it a little more of an aged look. I really like how this turned out even though my turquoises are a hare off ;-)
Hope you will join us over at CPS and show us how you interpret this sketch for a chance to win some The{Stamps}of Life goodies.
