Today over at Stampotique Designer's Challenge, Kate Crane has challenged us to make a bookmark. This is what Kate had to say about the challenge:
I am always looking for ways to make art which is useful, something I can use in every day life so what better than a bookmark? You can never have enough of these ... I like to use them to mark pages in all of my favourite art publications! You can make any type of bookmark: A traditional straight bookmark, a corner bookmark, a swinging tag ... In any style: Vintage, funky, cute or weird. Anything goes! So go and dig out all for your favourite Stampotique stamps, it's time to get creative!
I like a small bookmark so I pulled out my tags to create. What a perfect time to create bookmarks with school back in session. I've been trying to make it a point to read more to the younger ones this year.
I pulled out some of my neglected Halloween stamps and created a scene on this bookmark/tag. I also combined it with the CAS-ual Friday Challenge-EmbossingI embossed my pumpkins and the owls eyes.
